.December 2003:. I was just wandering in one of many poor districts in an Egyptian city when I took this photo. The boy in the picture was just sitting at a path looking around. The poorness is a huge problem there. Althought I only took a photo and went on I think that it has its own story. Story of how difficult life can be... Hope you'll like it.

I like the way his eyes are directed to you instead to the camara.The photo is heartbreaking, but its a great shot too.

I have an Egyptian friend who tells me some of her childhood stories. Actually, I took some photos of her, and they are in my gallery, if you'd like to see. She's told me of all the simple things that she did when she lived there. I can't imagine most people living in America to be able to live like that child in your photo does. Sad, but a very good capture.
